If you are interested in a tight computer with the least amount of compatibility issues and an overall maximized speed - read on! The reason for building your own system is that you have direct control over the quality of components that go into it as well as the overall package. A computer is made up of several different parts. Most manufacturers use a high-performace processor. The problem is that in order to make money they will add in other components that are of questionable quality. If they are not carefully selected these parts will slow down the overall speed of the system - regardless of what processor you have installed.
