The Advanced Search? page is new and was put together to help people find what they need quickly. You can search the site itself, the White Papers on the Site and even the forums! Forum searching is made more accurate though by using the forum's built-in search engine

Double My Speed!

This section outlines how to increase your Broad Band speed and tune your Internet Connection. It also contains information on using a Proxy Server, how to Test Your Speed, server listings, extensive RWIN Listings, a Broad Band Speed Calculator, Limitations that affect your tuning, information on using a Router and much more. This is a core section of the site and the place to go if speed is your need!

Data Rate Calculator

This page contains a very useful device - a BroadBand Data Rate Calculator. You can use this custom calculator to convert Bits, Bytes, KiloBytes, MegaBits & GigaBits. The usefulness of this program cannot be overstated - it's unique because it actually converts both storage units and speed units. Internet Explorer reports speeds in storage units - not speed units! So this calculator is a required tool for tuning & comparing measurements.

Server Listings

Several pages that contain extensive server lists for the more major ISP's. Vital for tuning your connection to the Internet and essential information if you are planning on using a router. This information is also very relevant to getting an understanding of how your ISP has laid out their network.

Discussion Forums

This is the discussion forum for the entire site and is the primary way of asking questions about everything from tuning your broadband connection to how to remove spyware. It's probably the single most accessed part of the site and has proven to be invaluable to people from all over the world. If you've got a question - this is the place to ask it!

Tech Tips

Tech Tips is a section of the site that contains very important information. The content that ends up in here is typically questions that have been asked in the Forums many times and then gets posted up as a FAQ because it's needed so often. As such, there is great material in here that's common to many issues.

The reviews section contains reviews of products & services that I am familiar with. Things that make it in here are things that I feel visitors would like to see or know about or are products/services that I believe are worth promoting.

Remote Assistance

Remote Assistance is for clients that have problems they need repaired and are willing to pay for the service. If you are running Windows XP you have the ability to allow me to take direct control of your computer so that the problem can be repaired as if I was actually in front of your computer! During the session you can watch what I'm doing and we can speak at the same time. For more information on this handy service check out the page!

Downloads & Links

This page has a lot of relevant links and a large number of technical resources in the form of Microsoft White Papers. These files are available in Microsoft Word format or Adobe Acrobat. If you are looking for in-depth information from Microsoft on Windows 2000 this is a great place to go.

My Portfolio

This is a page I put up about myself. It contains resumes and network engineering maps of projects I've been involved in. It's handy because it gives you an idea as to what I'm about and what experiences I've had. The network maps are quite interesting and give a visual picture of typically complex network scenarios making them much easier to understand.
